RV - Kitchen

Not all of these things are RV specific. I’ll keep the RV things at the top.

Collapsible Dish Drainer

This sits in the sink all the time. We don’t collapse it, come to think of it.

Pan and Dish Scraper

Life without a garbage disposal means being sure to scrape things into the trash.

Simple Corelle Dishes

We have 3 big plates, 2 small plates, 2 low bowls, and 2 regular bowls. Haha. It’s the perfect set for us. Square bowls are perfect for drinking that last bit of soup from a corner. These are also sold at Wally-World but we haven’t needed a replacement.

Tea Kettle

I really don’t like the badge on this, but this kettle is absolutely great quality. We use French Presses for coffee, and we drink a lot of hot tea. A great kettle is a must.

French Press

We have 2 French Presses since we don’t always drink the same coffee.

Tea Infuser

This tea infuser is the best we’ve used. The holes are small, so no bits of tea leaves get into the water. The lid keeps the heat in when steeping, then serves as a place to put the infuser when the tea is ready to drink.

Utensil and Silverware Holder

There are only two things I don’t like about our RV. #1 is no silverware drawer (so bizarre!) and #2 is the slide mechanism. We tried many things to hold the silverware, and I like this best. This holds the silverware and big utensils

Knife Magnet

For every day use, this knife magnet is great. On travel days, I wrap the knives in a towel so we don’t get to our destination and find knives all over the floor. I only tried leaving them up once and only one knife fell. A knife on the floor isn’t something I want to discover the wrong way.

Motion-Sense Lights

We have these in the pantry, in the closets. Great, useful motion-sense lights.

Pantry Tension Rods

These tension rods are a must in the pantry on travel days. I also have long pieces of cardboard to hold cans and such back behind the tension rods.

Baskets (storage space)

We put three of these by the door for the dog leash, dog bags, flashlights, and winter gloves. We added three more in the kitchen for towels and such.

Over-Door Storage (more storage space)

This hangs over thee door and added so much storage in our pantry. Our pantry is also the coat closet, so it’s nice to have some thing easy to reach right insidee the door.

Zero Water Filter (now Culligan)

Water is different everywhere. We drink water more than anything and want it to be delicious. The Zero water tastes so clean and good. We either order filters from Amazon or find them at Ace Hardware. There’s always an Ace Hardware nearby.

Soda Stream

Neither of us drinks soda. There is something wonderful about a cold soda water on a hot day. We most often get refill cartridges at Walmart or Kohls.

Instant Pot

We use the Instant Pot as much as we use the Blackstone. We use it for rice, baked potatoes, and soups and stews. We love soup and stew season!

Wrap Dispenser

For aluminum foil, this thing just works well.

Electrolyte Powder

Great for post-hike or post ski recovery. Great for general health. Ideal for replenishing electrolytes

Redmond Salt

We love Remond Salt. Redmond salt's benefits stem from its unrefined nature, containing over 60 trace minerals that support hydration, nerve function, and electrolyte balance, while also offering a unique flavor. It is protected from modern pollutants and has no additives, making it a natural, unprocessed option for seasoning
