A File of Life is a simple document that contains your most important medical information in one place - quickly available in an emergency.

If first responders are called to your home (and/or RV), they don’t have time to search through paperwork or ask detailed questions. A completed File of Life provides immediate access to critical details like your medical conditions, medications, allergies, emergency contacts, and healthcare preferences.

If something were to happen, we want first responders to have clear, accurate information right away. This is one of those simple things that’s easy to put off, but could make a real difference when it matters most. We care about you and want you to get the best care as quickly as possible.

📍 File of Life Recommendations

Make sure your form is easy to find in an emergency. We recommend:

  • Place it on your refrigerator (most common for EMS to check)

  • Put it in a red envelope or folder so it stands out

  • Let family members or travel partners know where it is

  • Update it annually
