From skiing to kayaking, hiking, and small-town finds, we share the adventures, gear, and local treasures that remind us we’re blessed to call every part of the USA home.

We took Lucy to run on the beach. She ran and ran and ran. She was playing in the water and found something. She dropped it. We saw it flop around. OUR DOG CAUGHT A FISH!
We covered a lot of miles in June. Utah, Nevada, California, and Oregon. All of July will be slow and just in beautiful Oregon. 🌊 I'm thankful for remote work. I'm thankful for every bit of this life with Kelly. We love seeing family, friends, giant

We always have at least two pairs of shoes in the truck. Today definitely includes water. If it's too cold, I want the purple Xero shoes which are also waterproof. The blue Groundz are grounding and who wouldn't want that in the soft floor of the red
We saw the California and Oregon welcome signs more than once this weekend. 😄 This could be a much bigger post, but today is a workday. We're back to the land of lighthouses. 💛 We saw the Redwoods! 😮 Nobody was happier this weekend than Kelly
We walked the Stand by Me bridge. No train, thank God. Then, we watched the movie again. 🍿
A nice afternoon driving a bit of Lake Tahoe, followed by Lucy playing fetch in the crystal clear water with a giant pinecone. The next time we're here, we'll plan for more time to hike, kayak, or maybe ski? 🤔
I'm not much of a movie person, but we did watch Close Encounters at Devils Tower, The Goonies in Astoria, and I just saw this bridge on our upcoming route. I'll make the popcorn. 🍿
