We hadn’t planned on another last ski day, but we’re glad we did.
Closing day at Wolf Creek, and somehow the skiing was better than it was a month ago. That last storm brought a solid 19".

Sand, rocks, and ice. Shew! We met up with Carlos at Great Sand Dunes National Park for sandboarding and sledding, then went to see Zapata Falls. If you need a day of laughs, do this.

Our first snowcat ride - at Wolf Creek Ski Area

We rode up the Alberta Chair, then we hiked across Knife Ridge Staircase, then skied to the snowcat. It was a sunny, bluebird day!

From there, we rode the snowcat, hiked a bit more past Horseshoe Bowl
