Lucy 🐕
We spent the winter of 2024 in Teton Valley, Idaho. We had just lost our sweetest dog Molly. Michelle took a peek at the local shelter and saw a dog that looked like Molly from a glance. Well, we had to go look. “Astrid” was guessed to be 6-months old. Her and her sister were found wandering around Salmon, Idaho. Who adopts a dog with no training in the middle of winter in Idaho? She’s full of energy and has springs for legs. We call her a Kanga-Doodle-Roo.
Ziggy 🐈⬛
We got Ziggy when we lived in a house. He has a nice space all to himself in the RV. He enjoys seeing the different birds, squirrels, and other animals from the window or screen door. He’s not a huge fan of travel days. He does just fine, though. He enjoys sitting on Michelle’s lap in the mornings and evenings.
RV - Dog + Cat Stuff
Dog Stuff
Dog Bowls + Storage
Dual-function dog bowl. The dog food is stored in the bottom and the bows are at a nice height for a taller dog.
Bench Car Seat Cover
We’ve had this in the truck for so long. A must for a muddy dog and a dog who likes to roll in whatever stink she can find. It’s sturdy, easy to remove to throw in the wash.
Reflective Dog Collar
This collar is bright and the threading glows, which is helpful in the dark in unfamiliar areas.
Training Collar
Lucy comes back when called. She’s still a puppy and sometimes needs to get reminded to refocus. This thing beeps, which is what wee use 95% of the time, has a vibrate, and has a shock. We don’t even have the shock prongs on it. The beep and vibrate are quite effective. Highly recommended!
Pupsicle - Long-Lasting Interactive Dog Toy
Well, we’d like to thank whoever invented this genius dog treat thing. There are premade treats you can put in here or use their little tray to make frozen treats. The Pupsicle twists open, you add the treat, twist it closed, and the dog will work for a while to get that treat finished.
Pupsicle Tray
This tray goes with the Pupsicle dog treat thingamabob.
Extreme Dog Toy Puzzle Ball
Another keep-Lucy-busy toy. This thing is STURDY. Kelly will add some bigger treats in here to keep Lucy entertained for a while.
Cat Stuff
Pet Grooming Vacuum
A Flowbee for dogs! Lucy is a Doodle of some sort, so her hair just grows and grows. We took her to a groomer when we first got her, and it was pricy enough that we needed another plan. Also, finding and scheduling a groomer on the road can be tricky. Our own haircuts are challenging enough. We ordered this and it’s quite amazing. It cuts Lucy’s hair and vacuums it at the same time. Kelly is the dog groomer and he does a great job!
Cat Scratchers
Ziggy is a simple cat. He loves these scratch pads.
Cat Litter
This stuff is lightweight, easier to cleanup when some gets out of the litter box, and easy when cleaning the litter box. I’m kind of amazed. It’s so light!
Top Entry Litter Box
I read that less litter gets out with these top entry litter boxes and I think it’s true. Also, on travel days, there’s no concern of the litter shaking out.
Cat Litter Mat
Well, some litter gets out and this mat definitely helps keep it from scattering all over the floor. It’s easy to shake out and easy to wash.
