RV - Bathroom

RVs are often made for weekend campers, so not the best quality. We’ve definitely done several upgrades. Not all of these things are RV-specific. I’ll keep the RV things at the top.

Oxygenics Showerhead

I never even tried the showerhead that came on our RV. I had read enough to know we had to get an Oxygenics. With limited hot water, I didn’t need to be struggling to rinse my hair.

Dometic 311 Gravity Flush Toilet, Low Profile

This toilet is quiet and it works so well (we had two others prior to this). There are two height options and we have the lower one. Who needs a Squatty Potty?

Happy Campers Holding Tank Treatment

We’ve tried others. This is what we recommend. I really don’t want to even think about more details on a toilet tank treatment. If you tried this one and like another better, let us know. =)

Sink Shroom

In our RV, the Sink Shroom is the perfect size for our bathroom sink and our shower. Sure, some hair gets past it, but it does a great job. We tried a few things before realizing we just needed the sink size for our shower. The stopper that came on the sink wouldn’t have stopped anything from going down, so this is nice for preventing losing something into the tank.

Quick Dry Towels

Regular towels seemed to take so long to dry, so we got these quick-dry towels. We have some for the shower and some for when we’re at a hot spring, a lake, on a boat, at the beach. Kelly prefers the feel of terry cloth towels, but he’s good with these. I really like them. They also do take up less room.

Slim Little Trash Can

It’s a bathroom trash can. It fits perfectly in our travel trailer bathroom.

Command Hooks

If you have an RV, you’ll want command hooks. You’ll want them to hang up your shampoo bar (see below). You want them for hats, towels, keys, all kinds of stuff. Do NOT use other kinds of adhesive. Command adhesive will come off nicely; others might not. I can send you a picture of one that did not.

EDJY Fingernail Cutter

We succumbed to the ads we were both seeing for these and we’re so glad we did. They do look and feel different. They do a great job! We prefer them to traditional nail clippers.

Kitsch Shampoo and Conditioner Bars

These are certainly not RV-necessary, we both just like them. We have tried their different types and like the Rosemary right now.

If you get the shampoo and conditioner bars, these bags are great.

Philips Sonicare Toothbrush

This is absolutely the best toothbrush I’ve ever had. I love it so much. Kelly has a black one. Michelle has a pink one.

Young Living - Thieves Toothpaste

I like the flavor of this toothpaste, and it cleans my teeth really well. No artificial ingredients. They say Thieves can boost immune function.
