Where we skied

1. Snowbasin Resort, Huntsville, Utah

   1. Kelly worked here on the Mountain Safety Team. What a great group of people. We keep in touch with a few of these guys and would love to hang out with any of them again.

   2. The lodges at Snowbasin are absolutely beautiful.

   3. We loved sharing an Austrian Reuben sandwich for lunch at John Paul Lodge.

2. Sundance Mountain Resort, Sundance, Utah

   1. We just skied here one day. It’s a simple and elegant resort. We had a lot of fun skiing here.

Washington Heights Church, Ogden, Utah

2. Valley View RV Resort in Layton, Utah

Plusses

• There is SO much to do near Salt Lake.

• Both parks are very clean, safe.

• Close to Snowbasin!

Minuses

• Air Quality

  • The air quality is TERRIBLE in the Salt Lake City area. We bought our Air Purifier when we were there.

• The two parks we stayed at are on either side of the Hill Air Force base runway.

  • It’s so cool - for a few days, not for a whole season. Yes, they do practice at night.

  • We loved watching the F-35s practice. They were CLOSE.

• Riverside - planes, trains, and automobiles.

  • The jets, the double-decker trains that ran nearby shook the trailer, the highway.

Laundry

• Fine in both RV parks

Starlink

• Fine in both RV parks

Dog Friendliness

• Riverside has a great walking path by the water and small dog area.

• Valley View has a fun dog area, a nice enclosed area, lots of walking area.
