Grand Targhee, Wyoming

Idaho’s Teton Valley is probably special to everyone who visits. It’s so beautiful. We’re so thankful for our season there. We love our community there - at church, on the mountain, at the dog park, at the RV park. We love the giant grocery store (not the prices) in Driggs, the small one with great to-go options in Victor.

Where we skied

1. Grand Targhee Resort, Wyoming ❤️

   1. Our favorite place to ski. The snow is incredible.

   2. Kelly worked on the Base Operations team taking care of the plaza, making fantastic fires. There is a live YouTube channel of the plaza, so I could see him while I was at home workig on my computer. His Uncle John would also sign on from Montana and watch him work. They would have great conversations. I had Kelly get closer to the camera one day, so he could wave at his uncle, who I knew was watching. <3

2. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Wyoming ❤️

   1. This is a great mountain. We need more time on this mountain. We did get to have waffles in the original Corbet’s Cabin. Our friend Carlos came up from Colorado and insisted on skiing everywhere we could. =)

3. Big Sky Resort, Montana

   1. A one-day, late-season ski day. We skied past a couple of moose!

Where we worshipped

Fresh Life Church, Victor, Idaho. This is a remote campus of the main campus is in Kalispell, Montana. Oh, we love this group of people. Fresh Life is now our primary church. We watch services online each week. We went to the main campus a couple times when we were visitng our family in Montana. We love Pastor Levi Lusko’s messages and creative, history-filled lessons.

• FREE ski bus stop is there.

Minuses

• Expensive

• The weather is MEAN. The wind lasted for days. (See how close it is to Wyoming). We knew this coming in. The community and skiing were worth it for us.

• We used the laundry room here once, then opted for one in town, which was the BEST anywhere.

• Of the few available winter RV park options, it was the best choice at the time.

Starlink

• The whole park is Starlink-friendly.

Dog Friendliness

• PAWS in Driggs is where we got Lucy. ❤️

• No dog park, but plenty of walking area in the park.

• GREAT dog park about a mile away.
